Rescue Ranches is an animal rescue organization building a national network of self-sustaining ranches that serve as refuges for dogs and cats, centers for veterinary education, and innovation hubs for sustainable practices. It aims to save 20,000-40,000 animals each year at each facility and uses an entrepreneurial model with for-profit ventures like natural dog food production and renewable energy to fund operations largely independently of government funding.
