ECORIGS LLC

BATON ROUGE, LA

EcoRigs provides coral reef organisms that are otherwise illegal to harvest on natural reefs, in a sustainable manner. The company harvests ornamental fish and invertebrates from offshore oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of America for sale to the aquarium trade, displacing harvest methods that could harm natural reefs. Its goal is to grow from a small research operation to a major supplier of live marine species to the US and international markets.
