stem water potential (SWP) readings

AgWaterAI builds irrigation decision software for California almond, pistachio and citrus growers and their crop advisers in the Central Valley. Three trained models run weekly: two estimate crop stress from stem water potential readings matched to soil probes and weather, and one estimates applied water. Each week growers receive a Monday briefing and a Thursday draft water order for each block. It grew out of a second-generation crop-advising practice working Central Valley orchards since 1984.
