Ervin Industries is a family-owned manufacturer of engineered steel shot and grit used for blast cleaning and shot peening, and advanced metal powders. Founded in 1920 by John Ervin, who invented and perfected the manufacturing of steel shot and grit for the abrasive industry. The company has three manufacturing plants in Michigan and Pennsylvania plus the world headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and two manufacturing plants in Germany.
