Abbott Underwater Acoustics has over 30 years of project management, underwater engineering inspections, hydrographic surveys, and acoustic imaging experience. Owner Brian Abbott is an HSE part 1 commercial diver who has conducted hydrographic surveys including side-scan sonar, multibeam sonar, and sub-bottom profiling, and has worked on bridges, dams, ports and harbors, and tunnels. The company also creates educational programs and presentations for university classes and collaborates with Northwestern Michigan College on Great Lakes exploration.
