BoxPower designs, deploys, and operates distributed infrastructure at the grid-edge, including utility-owned BESS plus renewable-generation microgrids. Its containerized microgrid technology was developed at Princeton University with National Science Foundation funding in 2011. BoxPower provides turnkey EPC services, hardware kits, the EASI design software, a controller, and O&M services, with more than 50 systems deployed across six states.
