AERIUP is developing a hands-free two-sensor acoustic wearable designed to provide close-range drone cueing for personnel operating beyond fixed counter-UAS coverage. The system turns local acoustic evidence into simple directional awareness, giving operators additional seconds to orient, move, report, or warn others. Initial live-drone testing showed measurable directional lag at roughly 100 meters, supporting the concept that a minimal two-sensor setup with signal processing may produce useful left-right cueing for nearby drones.
