Endolumik is a surgical device company founded in Morgantown, West Virginia, by Dr. Nova Szoka and co-founder and CEO Mara McFadden. It has developed a patented fluorescence-guided gastric calibration system (bougie) for gastrointestinal surgery that uses near-infrared light to illuminate the GI tract from within, allowing surgeons to see the calibration tube through thick tissue. The Endolumik Gastric Calibration Tube is described as the first device authorized under the FDA's Safer Technology Program.
