The company manufactures plastic media blasting abrasives and metal finishing abrasives, and its founders were instrumental in introducing plastic media blasting to the military in the mid-1980s. AMMO brand plastic media was initially used to strip paint from F-4 fighter aircraft at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
