Aquarius Energy is developing a novel approach to fusion power using catalytic nanoparticles, aiming to demonstrate and commercialize a reaction that produces heat energy and helium as an innocuous byproduct, with no CO2 emission, no radioactive fuel, and no radioactive waste. The company is working toward an Irrefutable Proof of Principle reactor system in partnership with the Cargnello Lab at Stanford University and is supported by the U.S. DOE's ARPA-E.
