Creative Devices, Inc. was instituted in 1970, originally named Micron Optics, Inc., the Nikon microscope dealer for New Jersey. In 1990 the name was sold and the Nikon franchise transferred to Sylvax Scientific, after which the company continued as Creative Devices, Inc., specializing in semiconductor inspection and test materials research. It is a manufacturer, importer, custom system designer and distributor of probe station and microscopy equipment.
