coal conversion to liquid fuels

Carbon Fuels, LLC developed the CharFuel® Coal Refining Process, a proprietary patented technology that refines raw coal as a refinery feedstock to produce high-value liquid fuels, petrochemicals, clean power plant feedstock, ammonia, and sulfur. The process converts 85%-90% of the energy in coal into clean refined products, requires no process water, and emits no CO2, while removing pollutants such as sulfur, nitrogen, chlorine, and mercury.
