BioDepot is made up of professors and students from the University of Washington Tacoma who are passionate about developing technology to advance cancer research. They develop the BioDepot-workflow-builder (Bwb), a tool to build bioinformatics workflows by combining interchangeable and encapsulated widgets, allowing researchers to easily implement and test new algorithms and observe how outputs differ. They also seek new ways to reduce costs and improve performance of big data analyses.
