Blastec, Inc. engineers, builds and installs shot blast machines and surface preparation equipment for large-scale industrial use. Founded in 1976, the company is the originator of the 1,760 RPM direct drive shot blast wheel and manufactures its machines at its facility in metro Atlanta, Georgia. It offers descaling systems for structural steel, plate, wind towers, rail cars, bar/wire, continuous strip, drums and lids, plus table blast, spinner hanger, tumble blast and wire mesh belt machines.
