Operations moved to Watford City, North Dakota in 2010, entered public works and general contracting by 2014, and transitioned to Davenport, Washington by 2017. In 2025 the company was sold to Lars Hendrickson. With approximately 45 employees, DW Excavating performs water and wastewater treatment facility work, sewer collection and water distribution systems, excavation and grading, and civil infrastructure
