PTSolutions is an industrial distributor founded in 1951 by Dan Kahn as Production Tool Supply. It began as a single storefront with three employees in Michigan, opened a headquarters in Warren, MI in 1976, was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2017, and rebranded to PTSolutions in 2018-2019. It established a new Novi, Michigan headquarters in 2020 and serves industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, energy, and defense.
