Bay Seal Company began in 1957 as a branch office of the Porter Seal Company and purchased Porter's Hayward office in 1972, changing its name to Bay Seal Company. It is a manufacturer and distributor of gaskets and sealing products with a large inventory and highly trained staff, and opened a second office in Austin, Texas in 1993. In 1999 it purchased Leonard's Molded Products to provide custom rubber shapes.
