Assay Technology is the global leader in diffusive monitoring badges for monitoring chemicals in a worker's personal breathing zone. Founded in 1981 by C. R. (Gus) Manning, the company develops and manufactures personal air samplers and analyzes returned samples through its two AIHA-LAP, LLC accredited labs (AT Labs). Its Miller-Nelson Laboratory has tested air purifying respirators since 1972 and performs NIOSH and European gas and vapor respirator qualification tests.
