AReCoS is developing an all-season heat pump rooftop unit: an air-source heat pump with an air-water heat exchanger designed to keep frost thin and clear it continuously, plus an embedded controller (U.S. Patent 12,768,557) that sets every actuator together without a cloud in the control path. The company is targeting rooftop pilot units in 2027, commercial units in 2028, and residential pilots in early 2028.
