Spun out of Stanford in 2021, it develops the Anthro Proteus electrolyte platform that replaces liquid electrolytes to unlock next-gen battery chemistries and form factors, with improved energy density, safety, and mechanical integrity. The technology requires no changes to existing manufacturing infrastructure, including giga-factories. Anthro operates a California production facility in Alameda, CA.
