Analogue Imaging was founded by Russell Burkel in 1999 in South Milwaukee, WI as a distributor of SMA scanning and archiving equipment. In 2009, Russell's son Aaron took over, making it a second-generation family business, and in 2015 the headquarters moved to Germantown, WI. The company offers book scanners, archive writers, large format flatbed scanners, and robotic scanners, and provides technical support and on-site service certified by SMA.
