Amrep is a refuse body manufacturer founded in 1976 by Jose Ghibaudo, originally named American Repair. The company builds garbage truck bodies including front end loaders, automated and manual side loaders, roll-offs, roll-off trailers, and rear loaders for waste haulers, municipalities, and equipment dealers. Amrep pioneered the use of Hardox wear plate in refuse bodies in 2001 and is a member of the Hardox In My Body program.
