It is the largest beet sugar producer in the U.S., operating seven locations including factories in Crookston, East Grand Forks, Moorhead and Hillsboro, MN, and Drayton, ND, with corporate headquarters in Moorhead, Minnesota. The company has been producing beet sugar since 1890 and became a farmer-owned cooperative in 1973.
