Founded in 1989 as Lucas/Schwering Architects, it became alt32 architecture | design in 2012 and merged with CoxAllen Architects in late 2018, expanding into federal work largely with the U.S. General Services Administration. The firm serves K-12 and higher education, federal, state, commercial and other clients.
