All American Racers (AAR) was founded in 1965 by Dan Gurney and Carroll Shelby with backing from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a race car company. AAR has transitioned to specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced composite and metal structures for the defense and space industries, serving as a one-stop-shop for design, machining, fabrication, assembly and validation testing. In September 2021, AAR was acquired by Charger Investment Partners to provide growth and diversification for the APEX Space & Defense business.
