ALEX BUCHANAN ARTWORK
From the company
Alex Buchanan creates sculptural artwork derived from resources inspired by the maritime industry, periodically including material with historical value. Conceptually, the work involves deep layers of semiotics, symbolism, and logography. The fibrous and tactile qualities of his main body of work carry a strong presence, adding character and statement to architectural settings. He works heavily by commission with an average of 3-4 weeks lead time.
