AIS is a minority-woman-owned, full service Geographic Information Systems (GIS) production and environmental small business. Since 1974, AIS has been providing multidisciplinary databases for use in GIS, environmental and urban planning, and facilities management. The company was founded by graduate students at the University of California, Riverside, was located in Crestline until it moved to Redlands in 1985, and worked closely with Esri in its early years.
