Bighorn Archaeological Consultants, LLC (Bighorn) was organized in March of 2004 by Dale R. Gourley and Jon R. Baxter. It is a small business providing archaeological consulting throughout the Western States, employing 10 full-time archaeologists. The firm works with federal, state, and county agencies, engineering groups, and the public sector to complete cultural resource projects and achieve compliance with directives such as the National Historic Preservation Act (Section 106).
