Manta Defense designs and manufactures heat-mitigating weapon accessories used by militaries and law enforcement, including standard issue to the United States Marine Corps. The company was conceived as MantaRails in fall 2009 and later renamed Manta Defense. All products are manufactured in-house at its New Philadelphia, Ohio facility using proprietary flexible polymers with an integral stainless steel skeleton.
