Advance Manufacturing Technology (AMT) is a Salt Lake City, Utah precision contract machine shop founded in 1976 by Keith Barney in the family garage. AMT machines complex high-tech parts and assemblies from plastics to super alloys on Mori Seiki lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, and Swiss turning centers, and inspects with Zeiss CMM, optical comparator and Keyence systems. The company is AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified and serves aerospace, defense, medical, mining and oil and gas programs.
