Accumetrics designs, assembles, and supports digital telemetry systems that transmit sensor data from rotating structures using wireless techniques. The company was the first to develop ground fault detection techniques and is a wholly owned subsidiary of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., itself a wholly owned subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation. Its systems monitor insulation faults on field windings of generators and synchronous motors with brushless exciters.
